Ambiance Collections

Ambiance Collections, LLC was a short-lived ceramics giftware company located in Jamaica, NY, established in 2002 and bankrupt by 2009. The company was a subdivision of Finesse Novelty Corp. of Port Washington, NY, a 3rd-generation jewelry company established in 1936.

The Ambiance Collections spreaders do not have any marking on the blades to indicate their brand (most are stamped “Stainless Steel,” and some have no markings at all; none contain the word “China,” since perhaps that is already marked on the bottom of the spreader house for those sets). Thankfully, however, the spreaders houses usually carry a mark or sticker identifying them as Ambiance Collections.

During the 2002-2009 period they were in business, Ambience Collections issued a handful of spreaders and at least a dozen spreader house sets that I have come across. There are probably others, and I will add them to my Pinterest collection as I find them.
