Cardinal/Spreadables Spreaders
Following is a list of Cardinal spreader sets that I have run across, either online on in my own collection. I will continue to add to the list from time to time as I see new sets online, and I hope this information will be helpful to collectors, or to sellers listing them for sale.
The list includes:
- an image of each item
- an image of the back of the case, when available
- the manufacturer’s Item Number (when known)
- the type of item, such as a spreader house or set of 4 spreaders
- the name of the item (when names are capitalized, they are the official names given by the manufacturer, when they are in lower case — except for proper names — the name is my own speculative name)
- a verbal description of the item, which may help in identifying the set if the image is poor
- Unfortunately, Cardinal did not print the year of manufacture on the original cases or spreader house boxes, so I have not included a column for that information.
The list can be sorted by clicking on the name of the column in the header row, and a search can be made for keywords, such as “penguin” or “santa”.
